LOGIN TROUBLESHOOTING

If you're having trouble logging into MyArgosCard.co.uk, we have a few tips that might help.

I know that I've registered for an Argos account before. Why are my login details not recognised? This website is separate to argos.co.uk, so login details that you use on one site will not work on the other (unless you used the same details for both of course!). If you have an Argos Card but haven't registered for MyArgosCard.co.uk then you can do it here.

What happens if I lock my account? If you enter your login details incorrectly three times within 24 hours your account will be locked for 30 minutes. If you try to reset your login details and enter that information incorrectly three times, your account will be locked for 240 minutes. You will need to wait until the account is unlocked before you try to log in again or call us on the number below. Your Card isn't affected, though, so you can still use it as normal.

I don't remember my Login ID. How do I reset it? If you forget your Login ID you'll need your account details (Argos Card number and expiry date) plus the postcode of the address to which the Card is registered and your Memorable Word. If you have all that then go here.

If you can't remember both your Login ID and Memorable Word then, for security reasons, you'll need to call us on the number below.

I have forgotten my Security Number or Memorable Word. What do I do? If you know your Login ID but you've forgotten either your Security Number or Memorable Word then you can reset them yourself if you have an email address already stored on MyArgosCard.co.uk. Just press Forgotten Security Details and then Send Email.

Once the email arrives follow the link to enter your account details (Argos Card number and expiry date) plus the postcode of the address to which the Card is registered. You will then need to reset your Security Number and Memorable Word. If we don't have an email address, or if you don't have access to the email address that you have stored on this site you'll need to call the number below.

When I try to log in I am told that I need to call. Why is this? Very occasionally you might be asked to call us before you can log in – this is usually related to an account management issue that we urgently need to speak to you about.

REGISTRATION TROUBLESHOOTING

If you're having trouble registering for this website, here are a few things that might help.

I'm entering my Argos Card details but I'm being told that they're not recognised. Why is this? You'll need your Argos Card, your date of birth and the Postcode of the property to which your Card is registered. If you’ve moved house recently but not updated your address yet then you might need to try your old postcode.

Can my additional cardholder register on this website? You can only register on My Argos Card if you're the main cardholder. Additional cardholders can't register for the website.

I've forgotten my login details and can't get into the site. Can I re-register instead? You can't register on My Argos Card more than once – so if you've forgotten your login details then you will need to reset them rather than try to register again.

I know I'm entering the right Argos Card details but they're not recognised. Why is this?

There may be a couple of reasons:
- Make sure that you're not entering the '6335' from your Card number as we've already done that
- This site is for managing the Argos Card as opposed to the Argos Credit Card.
- If you haven't used your Card for a long time it's possible your account has been closed.
- If your Card expired recently, it's possible that you are using the old expiry date.

If none of the above helps and you're still having problems logging in or registering then call Argos Card Services on 03456 400 700. Please bear in mind that lines can get very busy at certain times of the day.

† Lines are open 8am to 6pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 6pm Sunday. To maintain a quality of service, calls may be monitored or recorded. Call charges may vary please check with your provider.
